Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about growing up in "a white bubble." The actress also discusses how this experience has affected her parenting of adoptees who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl shared that she did not care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. "I inquired of Meg how she was treated differently when she went out with us parents than the times she was out by herself. She said: 'Oh Sure, I've witnessed everything I've seen it all! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I caused me to feel." Heigl admitted she became angry and felt that it was crucial to put the anger she felt on her adopted daughters. The couple, who are married to Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black in 2009.
