Actor Katherine Heigl is opening herself about her experience of being born into the "white bubble" and how that realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl shared that she did not care about her complexion until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. Meg was asked if her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents, and the time they were on their own. Meg responded "Oh sure! Every time!" Heigl talked to parents about how she realized the naivety of her actions. The actor said she became upset, but she felt that she had to channel her anger to aid the adopted children she has. The couple, who are married to Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. The couple adopted their daughters Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old and Black from South Korea in 2012.
