In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl shared she was not concerned about her complexion until she met her adopted sister who was from South Korea. "I inquired of Meg how she was that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than those who went out on her own. She responded "Oh yes! All the all the time!" That made me realize that I was so ignorant," Heigl said to her parents. The actor said she became upset, but she felt that she had to channel that energy to help adopt her daughters. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr., 4, have been married for 13 years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl who they adopted in 2012.
