Katherine Heigl admits her childhood in a white bubble, and how this experience impacted the way she raised her adopted multiracial kids. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane", as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared her looks didn't bother her. However, when speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was aware of how much different the two were. I inquired of Meg if, when she was out with her parents she received a certain treatment while out on her own she was treated with a totally different one. She replied "Oh, yes, every moment!" Heigl talked to parents about the moment she realised the naivety of her actions. Her anger grew at the time, and chose to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl has a four year old son with her 13-year wife, Josh Kelley. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
